About The Project

MCIT National Plan
The main objective of this project is :
  • Create an advanced IT Industry in Egypt.
  • Avail the necessary infrastructure.
  • Avail the needed skilled human resources.
Project Guidelines

MCIT plans to train 5000 candidate per year to become “ Professional IT Developers “. IBM share is 3000 candidates per year. Project duration is 5+ years, and target fresh graduates all over Egypt. IBM assigned a professional business partners to become IBM Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) across all Egypt.

Project duration is 65 months (5+ years), divided to five cycles. The course is 900 hours including Basic IT, Management, Advanced IT, Specialty Courses and Final Project.

Selection Steps
  • Advertisement with all participants Authorized Training Centers Names and Contacts.

  • Collect, check and sort the applications submitted from candidates.

  • Set for English and IQ Tests.

  • Interview potential candidates.

  • Choose the best ones to join the six months training program.

Curriculum and Certification

This program is based on IBM Curricula : IBM Advanced Career Education and IBM E-Business Academy.

IBM offers an International Certification for successful participants : Certified Internet Webmaster “CIW”.


Train The Trainer Program

IBM will provide IT market with trained trainers and instructors every year to secure this resource for the main project. Train The Trainer Program “TTT” is 400 Hours covers IT and Management Courses.


IBM Internship Program

IBM will provide the top 10% performers every year, a continuation opportunity in IBM Software Labs in USA and Europe for another 6 months.
